OUR HISTORY

 The charity was founded in January 2016 in Zimbabwe, two years after he came face to face with an abandoned child and chose not to look away. Determined the last $10 in his pocket wasn’t enough, he knew more people had to be involved for a long-term solution and broader impact.   As a follow-on to a task force organised by Stanley Nyika’ Zibwowa in response to vulnerable communities, people living with HIV and Aids, children who have lost one or both of their parents. Under the registered trademark “NOXCOH    ” funds had been raised to provide lifesaving aid to vulnerable community’s Project actively working to reduce hunger, HIV and Aids and poverty in Zimbabwe and elsewhere.

In 2016, NOXCOH launched their first sustainable development program in Chikomba Rural District ward 29 Zimbabwe, with projects to training youth to fight against gender based violence   and accelerate development. Over the years, NOXCOH programs have become models for quick-response and high-impact relief and development around the globe. In recent years, NOXCOH has become a leader in integrating civil society initiatives, public health, and human rights advocacy into humanitarian assistance. NOXCOH also formed strategic partnerships with Global partners   to build a global humanitarian network.

With the support of other prominent Zimbabwean, the Fund was successful in meeting relief needs in Zimbabwe, and later expanded its efforts to help vulnerable people in other nations. In 2018, the Fund was re-named NOXCOH International to reflect its broadened humanitarian role.

Today, NOXCOH is on the ground in Zimbabwe helping people recover from disaster, build better lives and transform their communities for good.
